Why we like this
Most of the planning before surgery goes into the surgery itself. Almost none goes into the first week home and that's usually where people feel least prepared. These three tools, plus your own choice of pillow, cover the practical gaps that show up early. Nothing generic, nothing padded into the box.

Who is this for?
- You have hip replacement surgery booked and want to prepare before you come home
- You're in the first few weeks of hip replacement recovery and need practical support
- Your surgeon or physiotherapist has recommended positioning aids and gentle activation tools
- You want everything ready in one order rather than sourcing items separately before surgery
Always follow the specific rehabilitation protocol and movement restrictions given by your surgical team. Individual recovery plans vary significantly between procedures.
Important safety information

Exercise Ball: only use for exercises cleared by your treating team. Stop if you experience sharp pain.
Pillow: if you have specific positioning instructions after surgery, always confirm correct use with your surgeon or physiotherapist before use.

The physio behind the store
I built this store because I was already recommending this equipment in sessions every day. As a mobile physio working in people's homes, I know what actually fits a real living room, a real bedroom, a real kitchen and what older adults will actually use.
Everything here has been in my kit bag, used with real clients, and chosen because it works in the home environment, not just in a clinic.

Getting ready before surgery:
-
Pack it with your hospital bag — have it ready before you need it, not something you're sourcing after you're home
-
Leg lifter — loop around the heel, not the toes, for controlled and secure movement
-
Grabber — keep it beside the bed and in the kitchen; the two places bending is hardest to avoid early on
-
Exercise ball — used for gentle inner-range quad activation once your surgical team has cleared it; not for the first few days
-
Pillow choice — pick based on how you sleep and your surgeon's positioning instructions, not just preference
Always follow the specific rehabilitation protocol given by your surgical team. This kit supports that plan — it doesn't replace it.
What makes us different
Everything on this store is something we actually use. It's in our kit bag — we bring it into real sessions with real clients, week after week. If it's here, it's because we've tried it, trusted it, and watched it make a genuine difference.
We're not trying to sell you everything. The range is curated for older adults building strength and independence at home, and simplicity is the whole point. You don't need a home gym. You don't need to be an expert.
As a mobile physio practice, we can only reach so many people in person. This store is how we share what works with everyone else.
Movement keeps you going
The evidence is clear: it is never too late to start. A few minutes of movement most days adds up to something real over time. You don't need a gym, a trainer, or a complicated programme. You need simple equipment that works at home and a reason to pick it up.
Three things regular movement may help maintain
-
Muscle StrengthWe naturally lose muscle mass as we age. Resistance exercise is one of the most effective tools for slowing that process — at any age.
-
Balance & StabilityBalance responds well to regular practice. Simple exercises done consistently can make a meaningful difference to how steady you feel day to day.
-
Independence at HomePeople over 65 benefit more from adequate fitness than any other age group — to maintain independence, recover from illness, and reduce disease risk.
