Almost Strong Pty Ltd (ABN 20 687 471 647) operates this website. We provide two distinct things:

  • Clinical services — Mobile physiotherapy consultations and exercise classes, delivered by AHPRA-registered health professionals.
  • The Almost Strong online store — Retail sales of mobility, exercise and wellbeing equipment.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services and products. Some clauses apply only to clinical services, and some only to store purchases; where that is the case, we say so. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Almost Strong Pty Ltd offers:

  • Mobile physiotherapy consultations
  • Group exercise classes (in-person and online)
  • Related health and wellbeing products, sold through our online store
  • Related health and wellbeing information published on our website and blog

All physiotherapy services are delivered by AHPRA-registered health professionals. Purchasing a product from our online store does not create a therapeutic relationship with a physiotherapist and is not a booking for, or a step towards, any clinical service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to book physiotherapy services on this site. Clients under 18 require consent from a parent or guardian. Products may be purchased by any customer able to enter into a legally binding contract under Australian law.

3. Payments & Billing

  • Payments can be made via credit/debit card, or any payment method offered at checkout.
  • All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
  • For physiotherapy service bookings paid via bank transfer, payment confirmation must be emailed to us before the booking is finalised.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

  • Appointments and classes must be booked in advance.
  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged the full session fee.
  • Class passes and telehealth packages are non-refundable but may be rescheduled where possible.

5. Telehealth Services

Telehealth sessions are conducted via secure online platforms. By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for exercise.
  • Technology limitations (e.g., internet issues) may affect the session.
  • Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency medical care.

6. Health & Safety

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions.
  • You will follow the instructions of your physiotherapist or exercise professional.
  • You understand that exercise carries some risks, and you participate at your own discretion.

Almost Strong Pty Ltd is not liable for injuries or issues arising from misuse, non-compliance, or undisclosed health conditions.

7. Products Purchased Through Our Online Store

  • Product descriptions, images, and pricing are provided in good faith and reflect our best effort to represent items accurately. Actual products may vary slightly from images due to manufacturing or supplier variations.
  • Some products are fulfilled by third-party suppliers, including overseas fulfillment partners. Estimated delivery timeframes are outlined in our Shipping Policy.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, or otherwise cannot be fulfilled. In this case, you will be notified and refunded in full for that item.
  • Products sold through our store are general mobility, exercise, and wellbeing equipment. They are not medical devices and are not a substitute for individualised advice from your treating health professional. Always follow the specific guidance of your physiotherapist, doctor, or surgeon regarding what equipment is appropriate for your situation.
  • Where we describe a product as "physio-curated" or "chosen by a physiotherapist", we mean that a physiotherapist has selected it for the range on the basis of general quality and everyday usefulness. It is not a clinical recommendation for you, and it does not mean the product is suitable for your circumstances.

8. General Information, Not Personal Advice

Content published on our website, blog, and product pages is general information only. It is not a substitute for personalised clinical advice and should not be relied upon as such. Always consult your treating health professional before beginning a new exercise, using new equipment, or making decisions about your health or recovery.

9. Promotions, Discount Codes and Offers

  • From time to time we offer discount codes and promotions on products sold through our online store. Each offer is subject to its own terms, published at almoststrong.com/pages/terms.
  • Discount codes and promotional offers apply to retail products only. They cannot be redeemed against physiotherapy consultations, home visits, telehealth appointments, exercise classes, class passes, or any other service delivered by a registered health practitioner.
  • No offer, discount or promotion made by Almost Strong Pty Ltd is intended as, or should be understood as, an inducement to use a regulated health service.
  • Unless the offer terms say otherwise: one use per customer, cannot be combined with other offers, not redeemable for cash, and not applicable to shipping or gift cards.
  • We may withdraw or vary an offer at any time. This does not affect orders already placed.

10. Marketing Communications

  • You can subscribe to Almost Strong marketing emails through our website. Subscribing is optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Our marketing emails relate to the Almost Strong online store: products, offers and general information. They are not clinical communications, are not tailored to your health circumstances, and do not form part of any care you may receive from us.
  • Subscribing to our mailing list does not make you a patient or client of our physiotherapy practice, and does not create a therapeutic relationship.
  • Where we ask you to tell us what you are interested in, we use your answer only to decide which products to show you. We do not ask for, collect, or store health information through our marketing emails or website signup forms.
  • Communications relating to a physiotherapy appointment you have booked are separate from marketing, and unsubscribing from marketing does not stop them.

11. Customer Reviews 

  • We may publish customer reviews of products sold through our online store, on our website and in our marketing.
  • Reviews are published only where they relate to the product itself and to your experience as a customer — build quality, delivery, packaging, ease of use, and service.
  • We do not publish reviews that describe symptoms, health conditions, diagnoses, treatment, or health outcomes, and we do not publish reviews of physiotherapy or other clinical services. This applies to all our channels and is not negotiable, in line with the National Law and Ahpra's advertising guidelines.
  • We may decline to publish, or may remove, any review at our discretion. We do not edit the substance of a review; if it cannot be published as written, we do not publish it.

12. Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on refunds, credits, and rescheduling options. Where an item was purchased using a discount code, we refund the amount actually paid.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, images, and resources, is the property of Almost Strong Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Almost Strong Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the cost of the service or product provided.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
