Why we like this
Most of what we sell has a clear job. This one has the clearest of all, and it's the sort of thing people don't buy for themselves until somebody suggests it.We wanted one piece, not two. A moulded shaft with nothing to hinge and nothing to tighten, a scoop wide enough to cover the back of a shoe, and a loop on the handle, because a shoe horn in a drawer doesn't get used. That's the whole specification, and this meets it.

The physio behind the store
I built this store because I was already recommending this equipment in sessions every day. As a mobile physio working in people's homes, I know what actually fits a real living room, a real bedroom, a real kitchen and what older adults will actually use.
Everything here has been in my kit bag, used with real clients, and chosen because it works in the home environment, not just in a clinic.

Sitting down is most of the technique:
-
Sit first — standing on one leg to put a shoe on is where balance gets tested, and a shoe horn doesn't change that
-
Scoop in before your foot — set it flat against the back of the shoe, then slide your heel down the ramp
-
Angle the handle out to the side — you get a cleaner line into the shoe and you're not fighting your own knee
Hang it where the shoes live. The best piece of equipment is the one you actually use.
Key features & benefits
What makes us different
Everything on this store is something we actually use. It's in our kit bag — we bring it into real sessions with real clients, week after week. If it's here, it's because we've tried it, trusted it, and watched it make a genuine difference.
We're not trying to sell you everything. The range is curated for older adults building strength and independence at home, and simplicity is the whole point. You don't need a home gym. You don't need to be an expert.
As a mobile physio practice, we can only reach so many people in person. This store is how we share what works with everyone else.
Movement keeps you going
The evidence is clear: it is never too late to start. A few minutes of movement most days adds up to something real over time. You don't need a gym, a trainer, or a complicated programme. You need simple equipment that works at home and a reason to pick it up.
Three things regular movement may help maintain
-
Muscle StrengthWe naturally lose muscle mass as we age. Resistance exercise is one of the most effective tools for slowing that process — at any age.
-
Balance & StabilityBalance responds well to regular practice. Simple exercises done consistently can make a meaningful difference to how steady you feel day to day.
-
Independence at HomePeople over 65 benefit more from adequate fitness than any other age group — to maintain independence, recover from illness, and reduce disease risk.
