Why we like this
We see how much grip strength matters for everyday independence and how rarely people think to work on it. This kit makes it easy to build in without carving out dedicated exercise time. Next to the chair, on the coffee table, within reach. It's also a natural next step for anyone who has done gentle early work after an upper limb procedure and wants to progress into more varied strengthening.

The physio behind the store
I built this store because I was already recommending this equipment in sessions every day. As a mobile physio working in people's homes, I know what actually fits a real living room, a real bedroom, a real kitchen and what older adults will actually use.
Everything here has been in my kit bag, used with real clients, and chosen because it works in the home environment, not just in a clinic.

How to get started:
-
Keep it visible — beside your chair, on the bedside table, next to the remote; the kit you can see is the kit you will use
-
Start with the adjustable grip trainer on its lowest setting — get comfortable there before introducing the other tools
-
Progress to the egg ball and grip ring as your hand builds base strength — these add variety and slightly different resistance patterns
-
Full grip squeeze — squeeze the egg ball or grip ring firmly, hold three to five seconds, release slowly; this is the core movement
-
Two-finger pinch — use the egg ball between thumb and index finger for pinch grip work
-
A few minutes, a few times a week is enough — consistency matters more than duration and spacing sessions allows your hands to recover between workouts
There should be no sharp joint pain during any exercise. General muscle fatigue in the hand and forearm is normal. Stop and consult a health professional if you experience pain.
Key features & benefits
What makes us different
Everything on this store is something we actually use. It's in our kit bag — we bring it into real sessions with real clients, week after week. If it's here, it's because we've tried it, trusted it, and watched it make a genuine difference.
We're not trying to sell you everything. The range is curated for older adults building strength and independence at home, and simplicity is the whole point. You don't need a home gym. You don't need to be an expert.
As a mobile physio practice, we can only reach so many people in person. This store is how we share what works with everyone else.
Movement keeps you going
The evidence is clear: it is never too late to start. A few minutes of movement most days adds up to something real over time. You don't need a gym, a trainer, or a complicated programme. You need simple equipment that works at home and a reason to pick it up.
Three things regular movement may help maintain
-
Muscle StrengthWe naturally lose muscle mass as we age. Resistance exercise is one of the most effective tools for slowing that process — at any age.
-
Balance & StabilityBalance responds well to regular practice. Simple exercises done consistently can make a meaningful difference to how steady you feel day to day.
-
Independence at HomePeople over 65 benefit more from adequate fitness than any other age group — to maintain independence, recover from illness, and reduce disease risk.
