Description

Simple, lightweight, fuss-free. Just place it between your knees and sleep.

When you sleep on your side without support between your knees, your top leg can drop forward and pull your hip out of alignment through the night. A purpose-shaped pillow holds that position naturally and the bean shape is designed to sit exactly where it needs to without bulk or awkward repositioning.

Memory foam fill that moulds gently to your legs. Breathable quilted cover. 320g — light enough to travel with and easy to shift if needed.

26 × 20 × 15cm. Navy Blue. No strap, no fuss.

Who is This For?

This may suit you if:

  • You're a side sleeper who wakes with discomfort at the knee, hip, or lower back
  • You want a lightweight, no-strap option that doesn't feel bulky in bed
  • You're recovering from hip or knee surgery and need comfortable leg separation through the night
  • You want something compact enough to travel with or pack in a hospital bag
  • You've tried folding a regular pillow between your knees and found it too big or unstable

If you have been given specific positioning instructions after surgery, always follow the advice of your surgeon or physiotherapist before use.

Why we like this

The bean shape is the whole point. It's compact enough not to feel like you're wrestling with something in your bed, but shaped precisely to sit between the knees without moving. No strap, no setup, just place it and it stays.

At 320g it's also light enough to travel with, which makes it useful for hospital stays or nights away from home during recovery.

The physio behind the store

I built this store because I was already recommending this equipment in sessions every day. As a mobile physio working in people's homes, I know what actually fits a real living room, a real bedroom, a real kitchen and what older adults will actually use.

Everything here has been in my kit bag, used with real clients, and chosen because it works in the home environment, not just in a clinic.

Physio pro tip

Getting the position right:

  • Place it between your knees, not your thighs — the bean shape is sized for knee-to-knee contact
  • The goal is hips stacked — one directly above the other
  • If it shifts through the night, try positioning it slightly higher, closer to mid-thigh
  • Lightweight enough to toss in a hospital bag — worth having before any planned procedure
  • Post-surgery — always confirm the correct leg position with your surgeon or physio before use; requirements vary by procedure

Side sleeping is most comfortable when your hips and spine stay aligned. The pillow is there to hold that position so you don't have to think about it.

What makes us different

Everything on this store is something we actually use. It's in our kit bag — we bring it into real sessions with real clients, week after week. If it's here, it's because we've tried it, trusted it, and watched it make a genuine difference.

We're not trying to sell you everything. The range is curated for older adults building strength and independence at home, and simplicity is the whole point. You don't need a home gym. You don't need to be an expert.

As a mobile physio practice, we can only reach so many people in person. This store is how we share what works with everyone else.

Why it matters

Movement keeps you going

57%
of Australians aged 65+ didn't meet physical activity guidelines
AIHW analysis of ABS NHS, 2022
65+
As we get older, staying active keeps you independent and able to do everyday activities
NSW Health, Physical activity guidelines for older adults
30min
of moderate to vigorous activity on most days is what Australian guidelines recommend for 65+

The evidence is clear: it is never too late to start. A few minutes of movement most days adds up to something real over time. You don't need a gym, a trainer, or a complicated programme. You need simple equipment that works at home and a reason to pick it up.

The evidence

Three things regular movement may help maintain

  • Muscle Strength
We naturally lose muscle mass as we age. Resistance exercise is one of the most effective tools for slowing that process — at any age.
  • Balance & Stability
Balance responds well to regular practice. Simple exercises done consistently can make a meaningful difference to how steady you feel day to day.
  • Independence at Home
People over 65 benefit more from adequate fitness than any other age group — to maintain independence, recover from illness, and reduce disease risk.
