Why we like this
Socks are often the first thing to get hard when bending gets difficult, and the last thing people want to ask for help with. It's a small job, but needing someone to do it for you every morning wears thin. This is one of the simplest ways around it. Nothing to charge, nothing to set up, just a shell and two cords. Once you've got the knack, you can do it yourself again.

The physio behind the store
I built this store because I was already recommending this equipment in sessions every day. As a mobile physio working in people's homes, I know what actually fits a real living room, a real bedroom, a real kitchen and what older adults will actually use.
Everything here has been in my kit bag, used with real clients, and chosen because it works in the home environment, not just in a clinic.

Most people get the knack after a few goes. These make it easier:
-
Sit in a firm chair — one with arms and your feet flat on the floor is easier than the edge of the bed
-
Load the sock all the way — pull it over the shell so the heel sits at the back and the toe is snug at the end
-
Pull both cords evenly — a steady pull towards you works better than a jerk, and the aid will slide out on its own
If you've had a hip replacement or been given movement precautions, ask your physio or OT to show you how to use it first. This is general information, not advice about your situation.
Key features & benefits
What makes us different
Everything on this store is something we actually use. It's in our kit bag — we bring it into real sessions with real clients, week after week. If it's here, it's because we've tried it, trusted it, and watched it make a genuine difference.
We're not trying to sell you everything. The range is curated for older adults building strength and independence at home, and simplicity is the whole point. You don't need a home gym. You don't need to be an expert.
As a mobile physio practice, we can only reach so many people in person. This store is how we share what works with everyone else.
Movement keeps you going
The evidence is clear: it is never too late to start. A few minutes of movement most days adds up to something real over time. You don't need a gym, a trainer, or a complicated programme. You need simple equipment that works at home and a reason to pick it up.
Three things regular movement may help maintain
-
Muscle StrengthWe naturally lose muscle mass as we age. Resistance exercise is one of the most effective tools for slowing that process — at any age.
-
Balance & StabilityBalance responds well to regular practice. Simple exercises done consistently can make a meaningful difference to how steady you feel day to day.
-
Independence at HomePeople over 65 benefit more from adequate fitness than any other age group — to maintain independence, recover from illness, and reduce disease risk.
